Teaching math is an everyday occurrence for me.    It is also my gifting.    I enjoy learning math and I also enjoy teaching math.    I teach all ages,   all abilities and many areas of math.

I have taught

I am presently teaching Geometry at a homeschool co-op, Algebra 1 and 2 online, Geometry online and I also tutor 10 to 15 students from the local schools.    You may email me for more information and my rates of pay.

Math in a Box is a method I use to teach Algebra and percentage word problems.    Most people dislike word problems.    Having a fixed method or "box" to begin a problem helps even the slow learner be successful with word problems!!
Is there a particular type of word problem or percentage problem for which you need help?

Children need to be taught the logic and reason of our numbers,   the patterns of numbers not just the memorization of math facts.   I have my own ideas of what to teach preschoolers to prepare them for math at school.
